Will be my first Monster Hunter game. Excited to try it out if it's really like God Eater

Dont know what God Eater is like, buuut! I've played monster hunter 3,4,5 on the 3ds, but not MHW (...yet!) How would I explain Monster Hunter?

It's like someone sat down and asked "What happens in an RPG?" stripped it down to the basics (Fight Monsters! Get Loot!) and made that part of it really, REALLY good, and left all the boring parts out. XD The weapons are VERY different from each other, capable of different moves and use different controls. Some are quick, and combo-chain-oriented, others are slow as the monster's attacks, but hit like a ton of bricks! I don't think there's a "right" or "wrong" way, and different people will have different favorites.

God Eater is the same game genre lol. I know what Monster Hunter is, just never played it.

I'm getting it, gonna try to talk Cerwyn into getting it too
