what do you think?

Ok...now I have met some of you IRL...and some of you I have chatted with and the like...if you feel you know me or actually do...do you think my current form suits me or does a normal european badger (the species I was long ago)suit me more? I'm just having a conflict of heart. Be "me" or be an idealized version of myself...
so...in short, old "me":http://www.furaffinity.net/view/126550/ (old art...shield your eyes) ?
or new, idealized, fancy "me": http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2257283/ ?
to read the whole long mess I'm talking about...go here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/882013/

Theres nothing in the fandom rules that says you can't do both.
I draw myself as either a eurasian/north american badger cross, or as a straight north american badger depending on mood.
Roland, the mixed breed badger is my normal mood.
Sebastian, the north american badger is my wilder, somewhat darker side.
I am not the only artist to use more than one fursona image depending on mood either.
Its not that common, but far from unknown.
I like all badgers, so although I know this doesn't help much- its the best answer I can give.

Stay the course, I say! You can always make another someday, right?
Don't let Bloodhounds internet before breakfast. No good can come of it.
I have a very common/simple fursona. You can achieve great things with one by keeping them simple and letting your personality show through.
I think with your older version more of your own personality showed through even in the simple image. With your newer one a person gets too wrapped up in the details to see any personality. It's an aesthetically pleasing character but doesn't feel representative.
I would personally rename the new you, revamp the old you and use the old one. maybe add afew unusual markings that you'd grown fond of in the new you, but...I would keep it simple to be honest with my opinion. How ever you feel more justified in a representation.
