TOS For Gremlin's Grove Please read these Terms of Service completelyBy Reading and purchasing from this seller you hereby agree to the terms and conditions below. DisclaimerBy commissioning the Gremlin's Grove, you are allowing us to take photos of the costume pieces with someone inside it for my portfolio and promotional purposes. Your character’s name/internet handle may be shared publicly, but your personal information (real name, address, etc) will remain private. We work in a smoke-free environment. We live with cats, all fur and work is kept separate from them,but if you’re severely allergic, you may wish to order from someone else
PaymentAll payments are due upon receipt, unless negotiated prior to shipment such as a payment plan or otherwise noted by the seller. If no payment is received from the buyer, no items will be shipped. When purchasing any type of commission, please be aware there is a 30% NONREFUNDABLE down payment needed to fill purchase materials as well as other things needed for the commission. This is again, nonrefundable.
DeadlinesThe seller so chooses if a deadline is doable or not; If the seller so feels that the deadline is unreasonable it will be declined. If there is a mutual understanding and terms are agreed upon the seller may so conduct a deadline. The seller has the right to change or terminate the deadline if payment or materials are not received. The seller will contact the buyer and will give a formal description and reason for the delay or termination of the deadline. Please note for any deadline, there will be a rush fee added to the total to 'bump' you ahead on the queue to meet that deadline. Gremlin's Grove reserves the right to refuse any deadline and often does not take them except on special cases.
Shipping Policies
Shipping will be paid for by the buyer in the amount agreed upon by the seller at the time of purchase. If an item is lost during shipping, it is not the sellers responsibility. Shipping costs may double if shipping internationally or rushed. If an item is damaged during shipping, seller will not be held responsible. Certain products may be picked up locally or during set events/meet-ups. These items for pick up must be discussed ahead of time to make sure that they can be reliably picked up.
Refund/Return PolicyItems are entitled to be refunded or returned based on complaint. If an item is damaged during shipping, a replacement will be sent after a complaint has been filed as well as proof of damage or a description of the items condition. If an item is unsatisfactory, a written explanation is needed before the item may be considered for a refund. Buyer must take into account the description of the item before requesting a refund. If the item matches the description by the seller and the buyer is unsatisfied, seller is not responsible for refund.
Cancellation- An item may be cancelled, though rights to a refund may vary, please contact at GremlinsGrove@gmail.com. This cancellation must be set prior to completion of the product placed on order. The amount of refund given will not include the 30% nonrefundable downpayment. The amount of completion for the product also effects the amount of a refund that can be given.
- The Seller has the right to deny any services; a formal description of why will be given.
a. If payment has been sent the amount agreed upon that is non-refundable will be held and what is not within the allocated amount will be returned.
b. If denied and no payment has been received there will be no further contact.
c. If supplies have been bought the amount spent on supplies will not be returned and will be withheld. The supplies will also be withheld and used on other projects.
Products and Alterations- If the buyer has paid the non-refundable amount and parts of what has been commissioned from the seller have been made, the buyer has the right to alter the product and resell the product.
- The buyer will not use the original design of the product created, it will be altered to not be copyrighted by the buyer. The new design will be copyrighted to the seller after proper alterations have been made.
- If the buyer so sees that the design is too similar they are required to contact the seller before said item is sold.
Duct Tape Dummies and Other Tracings Any and all commissions that require either a Duct Tape Dummy (Or DTD for short) must have it provided within 6 months of the commission being paid off. If buyer is unable to send a DTD in that time frame, please let the seller know so that arrangements can be made. If it takes longer than 6 months for the buyer to send their DTD or other tracings, please note that your commission may be canceled and the buyer will be refunded everything but the original 30% nonrefundable downpayment.
ComplaintsAny complaints about items please contact: GremlinsGrove@gmail.com, There is no guarantee of a resolution. Each case will be looked at individually. Please give 3-7 business days time to respond to each individual need/complaint.
LegalitiesThe seller is not responsible for any health or safety concerns once the buyer has received the item. If any harm is incurred from the items purchased by the buyer, the seller shares no responsibility. The seller also holds rights to cancel any commission or product. Product will be refunded. Seller will contact buyer about said problem. Cancellations and refunds will be completed within a time mentioned within the sellers note to said buyer.
Age & LimitationsAny buyer below the age of 18 is unable to hold a contract by law and thus can no commission Gremlin's Grove. If you have any questions regarding ages or commissions please contact me at: GremlinsGrove[at]gmail.com
