I attended my first 'My Little Pony' con last week - Galacon 2018 in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
In many ways it was similar to a furry con ( same general age profile, same type of attendees etc ) so it didn't seem that unfamiliar to me. Was an enjoyable couple of days.
