If you are reading this, I am excited and impressed. I have many hugs for everyone, but the reality now is that FA is no longer the furry nexus that it used to be. However, it is still my place to poke around every once in a while, explore what is out there, and check up on peeps near and far. My page is akin to a dusty museum of my commissions over many years. My submissions unseen approaching 25000. I was able to get them down to ~ 4000 this time last year, but other things must take precedence and it has ballooned back. If you have new art and you don't know who to nerd out with, send me a message as I like that stuff. Or maybe I will see it 9 months later and comment on it, too :)
Remember that time is the most valuable resource that you have. You cannot gain more. You can only manage what you have.

How is Denfur?
If you go to Denfur (the con), let me know how that goes. It didn't work out with my schedule. Tho direct flights from Fargo make it oh so appealing
I was going off of the definition: "the central and most important point or place."
But to answer, there is none. It's a diffuse conglomeration of all social media outlets, websites, and apps... furry and nonfurry. It is just my opinion that FA is no longer the go-to. It's still a thing, but it used to be bigger. I'm staying here and on twitter and on telegram. But I wouldn't consider any of them a nexus. I see more commission opening announcements on Twitter and Tumblr these days. Whether people find furry on art websites, gaming websites, or apps, it seems like most roads point to telegram (until the iPhone no longer supports it?) Find a group chat and *BOOM* people to talk to. You can't chat with people on FA very efficiently. You can post, wait, reply, wait. I went to a panel at a con in the last year, and the panelists postulated that the fandom is actually on youtube- the 12-20 years old crowd that you don't see on FA or going to conventions. That site makes furry the most accessible. The only way you can guestimate the size of this incredibly large and hidden group is by the amount of subscribers there are on the big furry channels, none of which I am familiar with.
