How to pick just "One"?

There are so many amazing animals to be! I just can't choose one to be my main Fursona!
I draw mainly humans, but I love furries and want to get better at drawing them. But like- I guess I kinda want to have a more consistent animal form for my avatar. I just can't choose... as a Transformation Artist I would just do animal-TFs to become all sorts of animals.
But like- my favourite animals I've been are- Cow/Buffalo, Wolf/Husky, Bear, House Cat, and one shots of various others.
I'd want to pick something from North America, and ideally fluffy....
So I guess out to ya'll who have a fursona- how did you choose yours? :D

Even if I settle on a "Main form" i'd still totally do transformations and other species for the occasional funsies.
Btw, a suggestion I thought of that I think would be good is a Maine Coon cat! They're big and soooooo fluffy!
And yeah- I'm feeling pretty close kinship with the Bison. Maybe downplay the MUSCLE growth a little bit for a default form.... but still keep the thicc wild cow parts.
Honestly, if you had to choose one default? I would say a bear, given your character's general size, and how big she normally gets in the first place. Plus with how cuddly she is, it's hard to resist.
Try creating a list of species you'd want to be, and start striking off ones you like less (e.g. if bats, cats, and rats are on the list, and you like cats more than you like rats, strike rats off).
