Is It Really Worth it?

Just so everyone knows, I'm not the talkative type, so I'll try to make this a brief as possible.
Everyone likes to have commissions done by good artists here, I know they don't have to be perfect, but good enough. Then there are collaborations . . . my God . . . where do I start? I know they are countless OCs online owned by more than one person; so they decide to do a commission with an OC you own and another owned by someone else. Hey, they may work out for some of you out there, but to others . . . is it really worth it?
You can ask someone, but they'll say they can't because of something or other. Hey, I'm not saying its a bad idea, it's just . . . what's the point? Look, I may be overthinking this a bit, but I just see the appeal of asking some random person to pay for something you can just do with characters of your own. It's the main reason why I don't have anything yet.

to be honest collaborations can be fun especially if you and someone like the same content. I personally dont mind doing them with friends and close companions. If anything, collaborations are a way to show interest/appreciation for someone's characcter. style, or content.
