Update on health

General
It's been a month since I posted about my emergency room visit so I thought I'd update:
I found a nice article explaining what I've been experiencing along with a picture of an EKG that shows it exactly:
https://www.quora.com/Is-there-a-me.....kipping-a-beat
I continue to have the occasional palpitation. Sometimes I'll go a week without having one, then I'll have 2 in a row. I talked to my boss about it and turns out he's had them for years! And started having them around the same age as I. He also went to his doctor and got the same exact "Don't worry about it," answer I did.
I'm still trying to figure out a pattern to them. I have an appointment in late September with an electrocariologist. My blood pressure and caffeine intake haven't changed in years. Could also be a thyroid issue. Could also be heat stress.
Anyhow, that's where that is.

Be well Foxer!
OTHERWISE stay as healthy as possible
The skipped heartbeats are called erithmia (sp) and are for the most part benign (not dangerous). They are caused by too much stimulus to the heart, by stuff like caffeine or medication. A pulse of 65 to 70 is okay, just a tiny bit low. Always with the heart, the troubles come when you relax - when the stress period has passed. So cut out the caffeine. I've had to to stave off my high blood sugar levels. Last summer I discovered Propel, made by the Gatorade people. It's essentially flavored water. Grape is the best. Along with the new meds, I'm much better and down to 204 lbs.
Swimming is the best cause it does more for your cardiac and pulmonary systems, plus a great way to beat the desert heat.
Find a nearby pool - or build one! - a new Fox Project! Or get one of those huge inflatable pools that look like big blue cannibals' cauldrons. I'm sure Wile E. has one. :)
No, I don't have the arrhythmia, but my wife does. Being tired can bring it about.
Consider using one of those desks you stand at, rather than sitting constantly.
ATTEPUH Part 19 D is nearly done. Much more of Engineer Fox saving the day with Wile E., Ralph Wolf & Egghead Junior. :)
