There are a lot of clone content things out there. Sometimes you have to sift through all the same-y stuff to find some gems mixed in! It's sort of like... Those bargain bins full of outdated dvds at wal-mart! I've found neat, unique people in the mix! Honestly it's mostly because we had to and have to work together, or I've met them online or met customers who have a unique flair to them. It's rough, but sometimes I have to dig to find something to cut through the monotony. When it comes to things like books I try to find my own content either online or in bookstores. I like to just pull random stuff on the shelf in my favorite sections and dig in. Same thing with movies really! Sometimes they're samey... But I try to pull what I can from them that I appreciate or find unique! Keeping an open mind has made it a lot more fun for me! I never know what I'll find next!

No, no, I agree. There's a lot of "same" going around. Especially if you stay in one place for a long enough time.

A change of location (for a couple of weeks, at least) would most certainly shake things up, for you. Most places have their own kind of "same", but it differs from place to place, so what is "same" for someone else, won't necessarily be "same" for you.

If everyone and everything seems the same, maybe you're not paying much attention.

Prolly a lot of truth to this. Viewing people as the same is usually more indicative of personal detachment than people actually being so similar they're boring.

I'd say go outside the Olympics; it will be packed with fans and tourists during the Olympics, and prices will most likely be jacked higher. I went for a couple weeks earlier this year and it was a great experience.

But My wife hexidimentional at her end as Drag entire smol family aka ME and our doggo across to Ontario from Newfoundland (where all entire my life on the shit island for 20+years) as She realized that I'm better off without living in Newfoundland with Lacking of needed/Disability. Now my life is flip from upside down to up/interesting to do.

As someone who's life has revolved around my full time construction job, it gets very VERY old. I get so burnt out that I find myself thinking up excuses to leave early. How I deal with this is I pick a place within driving distance, get a friend, and go away for a weekend! I've gone to Colorado several times now just to get away. It's an 8 hr drive, but if you have a buddy you like, it goes fast! The change, even for a weekend, is really refreshing and you might find you are in a much better state of mind when you return. If you aren't alone, it is pretty cheap for a get away.

Also. Turning off the TV and ignoring most of Hollywood is a good way to enjoy life. They are a bunch of morons virtue signaling there anyway.

Yeah, a change of pace seems like something that you need at the moment before you do something as drastic as a move (particularly to another country), if anything I would suggest this. When you take your trip, make that holiday a media blackout sort of thing. No Twitter, No Tumblr, No Facebook, No FA, keep away from the net/cable for much of it (and when you do use the net, avoid places of drama) and just explore.


Honestly it sounds like burn out, so best to just treat it as such.
