I just had the scare of a lifetime for a writer like me. I write everything on word doc. but as I was writing my computer glitched out and locked me from all my documents. I was freaking out, then when I finally got it open in a read only format because it allowed that it showed that from my 12,800 words I had wrote on my short story had turned back to 5,000. I was ready to curl up in a ball and cry, but I restarted my computer with a fifty-fifty chance of losing it and got it all back untainted. I'm only halfway done, but it was a lot of work! I'm so glad I didn't somehow destroy it
