Patreon added some new steps to ensure the content on Patreon is within their upload policy guidelines. I think they went through everyone's page to ensure the content there was good too. So they may have that review there as part of that change.

Rewards are hard to do. I don't think my rewards are that great, and I wish they were better. But the good news is you don't need rewards set up. They are kinda like 'recommended amounts' that people can use, while others can pledge what they like.

Also, I have discovered the empty journal thing the hard way too.

If you are going to paywall the Discord server its probably best to pawall the whole thing rather than just the chat, bigger incentive and with the latter you would likely get alot of people just join solely for updates.

Just my opinion though, most Patreon locked Discord chats tend to be rather uneventful.

My old patreon was just 1$ and you got access to everything. I added a chatroom for people to comment on stuff. The chatroom ended up kind of exploding, and I didn't like trying to moderate it and ultimately it felt like it caused me more anxiety than it was worth.

Iunno. You think 3$ for access to the discord would be too much? That's about as high as I think I can go without feeling greedy.

In my honest opinion 15 is a lot to access a Patreon, alot of people who use Patreon have a Discord as one of the lowest tiers of reward. If you want my advice: put some serious thought into Patreon rewards, nowadays alot of Patreon users have a well thought out plan for what people get for different pledge tiers, if it is something you are anxious about then perhaps have a look at how other users make use of it? The one catch with Patreon being very populour now is that its very easy to compare different peoples reward tiers ad I have seen a LOT of really high pledge requirements for very minor things.

You can still make a 15 pledge Discord work as long as theres other rewards below it, just Discord moderation is a vital part of a Discord server, and unfortunately you will have to deal with some... problematic people at times due to the nature of what you do.
