Hello! I'm Kalorian of Monster Cult Makers and I'm a new fursuit maker!
I'm offering a cheap custom partial commission, starting at 500$. I want to build up my portfolio, personal experience and learn things like how long a commission takes to complete and the various processes.
I will consider all the applications I receive, and select the character that most interests me and I feel I can create. I will reply to each app, informing you if you have, or have not been selected.
The buyer will pay shipping, for now I would prefer to take commissions from north America but feel free to contact me about special orders. Maybe we can work something out. I expect shipping in north America to be around $50.
I will need at least 50% down payment and would prefer the remainder paid within 6 weeks. I will not ship out the partial until it's been fully paid, for my own security. Of course you are welcome to pay the full amount right away.
Starting price is 500$, but complexities or big items may cost a bit more. For example, very large tails, complex markings and extras such as horns. Basically things that use a lot of extra materials or take a lot of additional time.
I'm going to estimate completion time at 3 months, but I do NOT guarantee that timeframe. Depending on communication, shipping times and the actual time to craft this beastie it could be more, or less time. Being part of this cheaper, first commission with me means I'm using this experience to learn how long this process will take. This partial will be coming from a home with cats, please keep this in mind if you have allergies!
What can you expect from your partial commission?
I will make you a head, paws and tail. The head will be a custom carved foam base, hand stitched with heavy duty upholstery thread. The head will be lined with a black spandex liner.
I will be accepting only one commission at a time for now, to ensure that your partial gets all the attention it deserves.
I have not yet made a head that you can wear glasses with. If you're willing to be a guinea pig I can try my best, but I would prefer to stick to a standard, no glasses head for now.
What do I need from you?
From you I will need a reference sheet or adequate art of your character or characters you're interested in having made.
Some basic measurements, head circumference, forearm circumference and if you would consider your hands small, medium or large.
A bit of patience and good communication. I'm a new maker and will always do my best, but I'm still learning!

You must be 18 years old to commission Monster Cult Makers
Projects come from a smoke free home, but we do have cats. Please keep this in mind if you have allergies.
By commissioning Monster Cult Makers you agree to;
• Your project will be photographed and the pictures will be used in my portfolio and as examples of my work.
• Your project will be tried on to test for comfort, fit and to have pictures taken.
• Your characters name will be attached to the project and shown publicly. Any personal information will be kept private.
I require 50% cost to be paid up front, before I will begin working on your commission. This 50% secures your slot, and will be used to purchase supplies, it is not refundable.
The remaining balance must be paid in full before I will ship the finished product to you.
We accept payment through Paypal and cashier's check. No personal checks accepted.
Communication during the commission should be handled through my email, Kalorian3[at]gmail.com
Please be sure to check your email often, to ensure quick communication and completion of your commission! If you know you will be unavailable to contact for a while, please give me notice.
If I cannot contact you for more than 45 days, I will be forced to consider your commission canceled and you will lose your 50% paid.
After your commission has been completed, if you have not paid the remaining amount and shipping costs within 2 months, I can resell the project, or do with it as I please. Your 50% up front will be lost.
