Yesterday was a trip. The yard was quite a collection of puddles, lakes, and rivers from the rains (which came down hard and fast sometimes). It was still raining when I went to bed at midnight.

Its now early into "day 4" and the worst seems to have passed. There's going to be scattered showers through the day with enough additional rain to keep flash flood watches posted over in the Roanoke and New River valleys. Some roads are still "washed out", but they'll recover.

I was more worried about mud slides over here than anything. But the worst, it seems, is over and its just the scattered remains that linger.
