It's funny thinking of this whole "Kero the Wolf" situation, I mean, it's so fucked. I dont understand how anyone can be this cruel. I've watched documentary's on sex trafficking, war zones, utter poverty: but this is what breaks me. Why? Stop trying to be accepted by the public, you're never going to be: because no matter how hard you try to rememedy this fandoms image, shit like this is the only thing that anyone is going to care about when they hear about this fandom. There is no room for nuance anymore, entire groups are only judged by the actions of the fringe hardliners and extremists: and why wouldent they be? They are the loudest voices in the room afterall. I dont want you to reply to any of them, or start flame wars, or report anything: these are the people you are trying to convince that you are "normal" but first off, you arent going to. These people came to the video to validate their hatred of you: and no amount of convincing is EVER going to change that. Watching that video, really tested my faith in this fandom, because I know the vast majority of you arent Kero, but if anyone in the industry I work in found out what I was: they wouldn't see a guy who draws pinup art, they will only assume I want to rape decapitated puppy heads in a mascot costume.
So stop trying to be accepted, you're never going to be: the best you can hope for is that we figure out a way to segregate the zoophiles and and psychopaths, just stay cool and under the radar like any other fandom and maybe, JUST MAYBE: we will one day be judged as an abnormal, but mostly harmless fandom: but who am I kidding? or my latest influx of comments, and think "Why the hell am I a part of something so wholeheartedly depraved?" I think for me, one thing
that so often ruins fandoms, political spheres, etc. is their members' constant need for validation. It's as though folks won't ever be happy
until they've been accepted as being the de-facto norm, even when anyone with half-a-brain can see they aren't remotely normal or
conventional. And it baffles me. Why should it be the world's business what turns one on or off? Why is it necessary that everyone sees your
belief system as the one and only way of looking at things? Why do people crave acceptance so badly that they deny reality in order to justify
deviance and nonconformity? If someone disagrees with you, if someone doesn't see things from your perspective, if someone finds what you
do or say detestable or incorrect, that's not your cue to double-down and haphazardly attempt to beat them into ideological submission. It's
just a reminder that not everyone is going to get what you get, feel what you feel, and see what you see. And that's okay. They don't have to.
It's true that sadistic psychopaths like this guy give the fandom an even worse reputation than it already has. And it's true that a lot of what
I've seen and experienced in this community has left me wondering why I even bother. But like you said, you have no say in your fetish. You
can't just switch what you enjoy on-and-off at the drop of a hat. So really, the best course of action is not to seek some sort of normalcy or
gold standard from the community, nor some sort of acceptance and understanding from the non-furry world: all you can do is learn to live
with what you enjoy, not force it upon others, and for heaven's sake, don't be a puppy-fucking psycho. The world is such a messed up place
sometimes, I swear.

I'm perfectly fine with my sexuality: I'm not fine sharing it and being lumped in with the crazies, especially when my tastes are nowhere near as extreme or insane as the fringe. No, not all fursuiters fuck animals, but consider this: You dont see the BDSM community having massive orgies at BDSM conventions and parades that get plastered all over the news 24/7, you dont see massive collections of foot fetishists barge their way into other fandoms and demand accptence, you dont see the scat community running around demanding that their fetish be considered a "lifestyle choice"
Even if you dont think it's a fetish, fine. Why doesnt the cyberpunk community have to put up with this? Why doesnt the cartoon or anime communties have to deal with this? The worst they could get called is "filthy weaboo"
Only the furry community deals with this shit, every other fandom or fetish community has the common sense to keep their heads down and out of the spotlight, quietly: in their own little corner of the internet. But not the furries, oh no: we have to parade it around in public and DEMAND people accept us because behaving like any other average fandom just isnt good enough. We need to put it on display for the world to see for some incomprehensible reason my mere mortal mind cant begin to comprehend.
I WANT to be able to consider myself a part of the furry fandom publicly, like how I like Marvel, Rick & Morty, lovecraftian horror, or any other collective I consider myself proud to be part of: but no, instead people hear "I'm a furry" and they think, all they ever WILL THINK is "Oh, you're a dog fucker"
