I don't know much about any of the RPG Maker programs, but if they allow for scripting, it might be easier and more powerful to just write a script to keep track of that.

There are quite a few plug in's you can install and use that do things like this, one popular Plug-in producer is Yanfly http://yanfly.moe/news/

He has a LOT of plug ins on his site that you can use and are easy to modify, I'm using a Lot of them in my game as well.

Another good person to look up for RPG maker advice is Echo607 on Youtube.
