I'm kinda confused now. Just as I thought, my halloween ych doesn't get everywatcher's interest. I mean, its.. fine? I don't really have any hope to sell YCHs in general anymore. The thing is.. there is some bids for slot 1, and still no bids for the male slot. And YCH is up to end this weekend. And I'm totally confused of what to do when this auction be finished and the 2nd slot still won't be bought. Can't say I have a lot of my own male characters (actually, I do, but I don't draw 'em that much). If I'd only knew a reason of why this slot is still open... ^^'
Is that because of a lot of reminders? (sorry, guys. Thats just a FA thing + a kind of artists competition.) Or is that because potential buyer wants to see finished or up-to-be-finished artwork to probably get interested? (the fun fact is.. it probably won't, because like.. the more details and work you put in your artwork - the less it takes someone else's interest. Paradox. 80\20 and 20\80 effect?) and... maybe the whole reason of the low interest is that its not nsfw? Like, I'm not interested in porn drawing in general.
Yet still.. what should I do?

i really like your style but this is just not the theme for me. dont give up people will notice you soon enough.
In addition, the subject matter for this one just didn't really appeal to me. I like your art, and I'd definitely consider bidding on a future piece, though.
hmm.. and what subject would you actually like? Because like.. I've had a thought in my mind, to ask people what they would like me to draw for a new ych, etc.. But as far as I can remember from the last time - there was no answer. Soo... :c
The thing about YCH's is that it should be a specific scene that YOU want to draw. Which, unfortunately, means you'll have some duds. If people want something specific, that's what commissions are for. It may be better to ask for followers to select a theme from a list or a broad category, like "hey guys, would you prefer a creepy Halloween pic, a cute Halloween pic, or just a general fall pic?" and see what kind of feedback you get. I've also seen some artists offer a variety of related scenes for a single auction, and the winner selects a single pose. Like "here are three Halloween scenes I'd like to draw, winner gets to pick the scene they prefer." The downside to these is that you don't usually want to add as much detail to the preliminary YCH.
So dont be discouraged! Keep doing the art *you* want, and the followers will come!
well, yeeeah, but the problem is I'm kinda sure, because of the last experience, that there will be no feedback at all |D like, there are tons of artists on FA people watching, like, they can't give a feedback to every journal, question, etc, right?.. so the time will be wasted anyway.
