Getting Back Into It and New Things

Whew...Been working on something for awhile now.
So recently I've gotten pretty serious about drawing and trying to figure out some art programs. There are some goals that MUST be met and some new things that I'm trying my hand at, but at the same time not really rushing anything. Trying not to be so harsh on myself and teaching myself that it's okay to be slow at learning and that it's okay that others are way better than you, whether it's what they want to do as a hobby or a job. It's tough. But there are a lot of artists out there that are helpful and inspirational, so hopefully something will come of it.
Okay, new things! Drawing with a tablet, drawing objects that have never even been attempted, HUMAN LIKE SHAPES (ugh, such a big thing...), landscape, a painterly like style (possibly with fur), and textures. All in one, experimental mish mash of a piece. I'm working hard on it, so hopefully it'll be done by Halloween, but it's a very slow process.
And at some point I really need to get an icon up ._. Eh. Cutting it off here for now!
