My dog had to be put down.

She was a Shih Tzu named Katie, and she had been around as long as I could remember (about 120 in dog years). She had been experiencing difficulties in eating, controlling her bowels, seeing, hearing, and many others. We decided that the best option was to put her down before she suffered with even walking. We put her down today. It's a very sad loss, so I may need some time to cope.

Believe me, it hurts...
