shanaAlright, so, this is a big announcement for those who still follow Cérès' project and are waiting on The Wind Memories' continuation.
I abandon the search of a new illustrator for now.
I tried hard to find one over the past two months and no illustrator seems to be interested on working with us on this comic or the very few who offered help couldn't fit.
I have to tell you all that I feel very discouraged at the moment and I even started to lose faith in my projects...
Because of doubt and fears I'm even scared to lose interest on the world I've created...
And it makes me feel very depressed and anxious because I don't want to give up totally on it...
I think I need a break from it. In order to be able to start working again with new energy and motivation. And also, with the hope that a new illustrator interested on the project might show up.
Still I feel very bad, like... I'm leaving my precious babies behind... but not forever. And maybe for the best ?

Here’s something that just happened to me recently. I have a novel in the works and I recently decided to pick it back up after a long time battling my own emotions. I saw a movie to just distract and unwind.
Coincidentally (more than likely not since I knew about it going to see the movie), there was a character in this movie that was incredibly similar to one of my own. It worked in a sort of way that I had the design of the character before I saw the movie and the movie was quickly confirming that my character idea made sense.
Come to think of it, this exact thing has happened twice to me now where I have an idea before going to see a movie. The movie being closely related to the subject confirmed that maybe my idea isn’t so unbelievable after all.
My next problem is to consider if the character I have is now just a clone of the movie character. :P
Me: I have this cool character named Grimm Hund!
Other: Really? What’s he about?
Me: He has nanotechnology in his body that can heal him and make him do cool superhuman stuff.
Other: Oh, you mean like that guy in Transcendence?
Me: ?
Other: The one with Johnny Depp.
Me: Watches movie.
Me: Close... Very close... He can do other other stuff, but how do I explain it?
Other: How about Terminator: Genesis?
Me: Watches movie.
Me: ... Yup
I didn't see the first movie, had heard it wasn't very good and the trailers I guess didn't inspire me too much...
But I love the Terminator franchise and have seen every movie in the series, so I saw Genisys and I personally enjoyed it.
(sure, the trailers/ads were giving away one of the cool twists of the movie, but besides that, I thought the movie was quite good)
Venom sure are a fun character. ^_^
