Both Liberals and Conservatives are Capitalists. No thanks to either side.

Well, to me a step in the right direction is better than nothing.

Liberalism isnt a step in the right direction though. its just plain capitalism. Something like Syriza or Unity List (Danish equivalent of syriza) would be a step in the right direction. Or even someone like Bernie Sanders for you guys, just as long as he wears the tile Socialist with pride!

After all the contention, hate, anger, disrespect, and so forth, this one doesn't want to be either a Dem or a Rep, neither conservative nor liberal, neither right nor left. I am my own self, with a desire to be simply practical and pragmatic. Those are the only two words preferred in the face of politics, because as a whole, they disgust me after seeing how they frequently bring out the worst in people en masse. This one will still love and respect you, friend. We are both furries. You are a Muslim, this one is a Christian. This one loves you as a fellow being.

I can respect that, and really for people of faith, our system isn't perfect but we should strive to vote with our conscience, and to be consistent with our principles, and really in daily life we should be good to each other since our culture is increasingly getting divided.

Yup. I've maintained this for quite some time. Always nice to be validated (also it helps to know I'm not crazy).

Political beliefs are way more complex than what many think, and it can be a mix of match, according to one's philosophy or outlook on life.
