Going into Surgery this week

This week Thursday I'll be going into oral surgery to remove a wisdom tooth that erupted (no thanks to a dentist that did a filling on it) and the thing is in order for them to remove it they have to sedate me and I never been put under sedation before so I'm pretty worried right now.
I have a history of really bad experience with dentists for decades so I ended up developing PTSD because of it so I'm just really scared right now cuz I don't know what exactly is going to happen.
So wish me luck I'm going to need it...

I hate dentists as well, last time I needed a tooth pulled the BASTARD didn't even wait for the Novocaine to kick in, he "I'm just going to check..." YANK
he got out of the room while I was blind with pain, but I made sure to punch and kick holes in the wall more than doubling the bill I had to pay IN ADVANCE. and most of his "customers" walked out never to return.
Second bit. I had to be sedated for my vasectomy and circumcision 3-4 years ago. stuck a drip in my hand, wheeled me into surgery, put the mask on. and I was halfway out the front door in a wheelchair before I regained mental faculties enough to know where I was and why.
GOOD STUFF. the second to last dentist I went to had Nitrous Oxide and they worked on me for 10 HOURS while I was lucid. telling jokes when they were not actively in my mouth, flirting with the nurses.
it was AWESOME. more dental care like that and my mouth would have a LOT more of my teeth in it.
I do NOT like pain. Pain Hurts.
so my fears about sedation are lessened somewhat by my experience with it. sure sure they give you this long speech about how low of a chance anything happening is, but they Have to tell you it CAN happen because liability and all. personally, I suggest you not sweat it. either you will wake up and be fine (99.9999999999% chance) or you won't wake up at all in which case you'll never know.
if you are not fine then I'll owe you a beer, hows that? (I'd offer you a beer either way)
