Good afternoon everyone! This journal is to answer questions, as well as set expectations and rules for both the upcoming Public Commission Stream, and all future public commission steams!

Each month, I hold public commission streams for the first three Saturdays of the month, so that non-patrons have the chance to get sketches and icons from me. The last Saturday of the month will be a patron exclusive commission stream. These streams start between 8am and 10am EST. The following FAQ's/Rules are to help keep the streams organized, smooth, and civil. Please be sure to read it through before the stream, so that we're all on the same page.

⦁ How are Public Commission Streams handled, and what commission types are offered?

Those interested in getting a sketch commission, once the announcement is made in-stream at the end of the raffle timer, just need to say "me" in the stream chat to be entered into the raffle. Please note: Do not use any punctuation or other words when you say "me", otherwise Picarto's raffle system will not recognize your entry. Once all those interested in getting a slot have spoken up, the raffle will begin and select someone at random, and that person wins that commission slot. That person is then contacted by my manager via in-stream whispers to collect the details of the commission, as well as their payment. Please be aware that if you are not able to be contacted within 5 minutes of winning the slot, it will be forfeited and re-raffled off to a different person, no exceptions.

The commissions that are available during streams are:

Black & White sketches for $55usd - If you have received a B&W sketch from a previous stream, and you are selected for another slot, you may opt to have that sketch colored. The fee for coloring a B&W sketch will range depending on the complexity of the character in question, starting at a base of $15usd, up to as high as $35. This range is determined by myself based on how long I feel it will take me to finish your piece.

Please note the following for the Sketches: these will be primarily artistic freedom. You may give my manager several prompts, such as SFW/NSFW/Tasteful nudity, pose suggestions, or an action that you'd like the character to be performing. Nothing too precise or specific. These will not usually include background object/props, unless the idea is basic enough that it can be done in a short amount of time. This will be done at my discretion.

⦁ What are the rules of the commission stream?

To start, you must be present in the stream in order to participate in the raffle. If you are not able to be contacted within a reasonable amount of time after winning the slot, your slot will be raffled off to the next person and will not be held- no exceptions.

All commission details, questions, payment, and corrections/live feedback during a commission stream must go through my manager Lothar32 (Picarto.tv name is Thornbird) and not to me directly. I have my whispers disabled for these streams.

Everyone is expected to behave in a civil and friendly manner towards all participants in the stream. This is including, but not limited to respecting a character's (Or their owner's) gender/gender identity, sexuality, design, and the content of the commissions being worked on during the stream. Any derogatory/insulting/inflammatory remarks made against anyone in the stream will be grounds for being banned from the stream and barred from commissions moving forward.

Let me emphasize following, as this trend has become more prevalent in recent history: If the content that is being created/worked on does not appeal to your sexual preferences, tastes, or sexual orientation, that does NOT make it okay for you to demean/belittle it or make "Eww", "gross", "Ewww, lady/man bits" etc. comments in relation to it. IT WILL NOT EVER BE TOLERATED! You will not even get a warning from me or my manager, you will simply be removed from the stream immediately and barred from participating in any further commission streams, and possibly any commissions period. There is no justification for this behavior. We're all adults, and if you can't simply appreciate artwork at face value, even if the content is not tailored to your sexual orientation, then frankly your presence will be short-lived at best.
