Fraudulent Impersonator Warning
Just as a heads up, I will never approach anyone through notes about selling a YCH or commissions unless we explicitly talked beforehand about it.
There's a user with a name/account that looks much like mine (one letter off) with the intention of trying to sell a past YCH of mine, seemingly to people that had commented on said YCH at the time.
I'm trying to have their account taken down, but I believe this person has probably been doing the same thing with other phony artist accounts, and will continue to do it with others. Please be cautious if an artist you follow, seemingly messages you trying to sell you something. Check their profile to make sure they're the real deal before sending any money, and if not, try to report them and notify the real artist.
Thanks for everyone that reached out to me about this, and thanks for reading.
I'm still fairly inactive, but my current accounts are Enro and and Enro_the_Mutt on Twitter

Please be careful people!
This particular scammer is mostly fishing through the Notes system. Rather than relying on the individual artists to warn users (and hope those users see their journals before reading their notes, which is unlikely), putting a warning directly on the Notes page would warn the user directly where the attacks are happening.
Barring that, just a site-wide notification would be useful.
Hopefully not too many more people have their money stolen while a subtle solution is in the works.
This directly addresses the scams and what the scam notes look like.

there's been a rash of them. I would consider dropping him a note if it looks like a trouble ticket isn't working.
