Exciting updates!

Hey folks! Checking in since this journal was in sore needing of an update.
Eurofurence was a success! Both talks went incredibly well, though sadly we lacked the means to record them well.
We raised money to cover Sasha's surgery and some extra to cover down-time, but it turned out that wasn't enough to meet some surprise expenses. Ah well, we scraped by with some love and support from other people who placed orders and from the generosity of Sasha's amazing family.
Inktober is still in the works! Though it's not as regular as I'd like it to be. More updates soon.
Sasha and I just came back from IlluXCon, the unofficial family reunion for fantastic realism artists and illustrators, and gave a talk on the merits of the furry fandom and this unlicensed therapy thing I do. It went very well!
We're now back home after over two weeks of being away. Just finished all my necessary cooking for the next few days, and am almost recovered from altitude sickness, so I'm looking forward to streaming full-time again. Been missing y'all.
And finally, there are more updates I can't share quite yet. Let's just say I have a lot to keep myself busy for next year, already.
To end this journal, I have a question for you: when was a time someone touched you with their generosity?

for the question posed- i'll have to vaguely say, last year, amidst a sea of denials, shut doors, and cold shoulders, there was a friend who helped me and my mother tremendously towards getting our own apartment, without whom we wouldn't have made it.
When was a time someone touched you with their generosity?
Just some days ago I received a package. It was a planned package I got from an order I placed to get some sewn goods from a friend to give away. That said friend put another package into that package containing my order.. and this smaller one contained a care-pack for me, some little goodies to cheer me up because I am currently suffering immensly from stress. It caught me off-guard and I couldn't stop crying the whole day over it.
It was a very sweet gesture of generosity and love.
Some days later, my bf dropped by spontaneously to hand me over some "frozen motivation" - he had been with his parents and his mom cooked for me. So that was frozen food by his mom. I think it's also the small things that show generosity very well and I could not be happier about having such nice people in my life.
As for generosity, I'd have to nominate my parents. They have done so much for me through the difficult periods and health problems I've had that it goes far beyond what one would even dare to ask to family members.
I'm immensely grateful for my friend Ash. She constantly blows me away with her generosity, namely with her patience, time, and emotional energy. She's there for not just me, but over a dozen people, many of whom struggle with really taxing mental illnesses. In my eyes, it's an incredible act of generosity that, whenever I've needed a friend, she's been there. She's the most supportive person I've ever known, and I'm really thankful I'm a part of her life.
Missed your panel, sorry.
