I have a pretty urgent question...
So I have a dilemma that needs background info to be addressed, so that's why the question is so long.. First, some context. I have had a best friend since I was very young (around Grade 2) and we are still friends to this day. Back in those days were were best friends, but because we had heard about all of this "romantic" stuff and thought it was cool, we, as second graders, called each other girlfriend and boyfriend without knowing what it meant. Now it's been many years and my "girlfriend" has been trying to evolve what was just a mislabeled friendship into an actual thing. The problem? As I got older, I found out I was completely asexual and had no interest in anyone sexually or even romantically. With my friend trying to get more and more serious, and the fact that I don't want to tell her I don't feel the same way, I think I've been very distant and I wanted to ask: Should I tell her about this and risk ruining my friendship or should I try to keep it secret as long as possible? Please comment a response if you have any wisdom to offer!
SIDENOTE: I also want to tell her I'm a furry and suggestions on that would be much appreciated, but I need to tell her about the fact that I'm not attracted to her way more, and this just kind of felt like the kind of place I might ask about this.
