Today is voting day, as my previous journal already stated and I hope you already know!

I wanted to make another short journal because I had a friend tell me the stupidest thing I've ever heard them say, and I really want to hope this isn't a real mentality.

"I'm not going to vote because I don't support the way things are, so it's my act of rebellion."

IF YOU BELIEVE THAT, YOU ARE AN IDIOT. Refusing to vote isn't an act of rebellion, it is an act of surrender to the way things are, and to the partisan politics that WANT YOU to not go out and vote so they can keep things the way they are!!

If you're truly unhappy with the way things are, GET OUT AND VOTE! Vote for someone who believes what you believe, who you think will push things more towards how you'd like them to be.

I don't care what side of politics you are on, just go vote and use your voice and opinion to push for positive change!!
