Lately there have been several people who have been claiming they have permission to use other people's characters for gift art when commissioning an artist, only for the artist to find out after this was not the case. As such, some artists will no longer agree to draw a character not belonging to the commissioner, but to another fur, without written proof they can. Therefore:
