well you can always explore on Google Maps. looks like mostly residential stuff there... surrounded by some hills or something.
i'd look at local meetups. but who knows. take time to settle in and get to explore. as long as the transition's an improvement.

well... it has its ups n downs. been with my mate 6 years now. not always easy. i've had my several years of a languid period.
but in recent months i must say i've had a creative revival, i've actually been writing more lately. since i found the Sergal fandom. i've become quite absorbed in all the aspects of it. been doing creature concepts. though a lot of this won't see the light of day.
We get by, budgeting, trying to work as much as i can. we have fun though. misc. outtings. gokarting.
As i'm sure in your new area you'll find plenty to do as well. if you look and explore enough.

It's still been about a decade now that i've been able to make it to a convention. I didn't know MFF is now twice as big as AC. and the plane tickets are a lot cheaper during that time of the year. Maybe, just maybe next year.
