Happy Level-up Day Kyle! That's heart-breaking news about your mother. I don't know if there is ever such a thing as a time "when we're ready" for that sorta thing, but having it happen in your 30s is definitely not as common as later in life. It's those tough moments that often help define us though and make us appreciate the good times and good memories all the more.

In terms of perspective, I think it's really amazing that I got to first talk and get to know you when you were 19, so to see almost 2 decades now of change shape and grow you into who you are now is amazing. That and at least I have some good greymuzzle company. ;)

Happy hatchingday! It's difficult to loose someone you're close to. I lost my mother back when I was 21 and it left me in a very precarious situation, but 9 years on and I'm still going. It will get easier, but it does take time.
