So, good news: my insurance company has determined my chemotherapy treatment is "medically necessary" and have approved the treatment.

...took 'em long enough :P I don't have a start date yet, but I assume it will be VERY soon...

Excellent! Kinda hard for them to worm their way out of that one. Does suck that you have to rely on insurance for such a thing though. :/ I hope the start date as ASAP.
