TOP SURGERY ON THE 26TH | NEW YEARS

Hi everyone !! Yeesh, It's been a while since i've written a journal eh? Well i wanted to update everyone on what'll be happening over the next month. I'm getting my top surgery in just a few days ! Its something i've been waiting a long time for and I'm excited to finally have it over with so i never have to wear a binder ever again.
Of course this means i won't be able to work during my recovery. You know.. Healing wounds on the chest and all...
This means a few things:
1. There won't be any commission streams for a while. Not until i'm fully recovered and able to function normally again without any pain medications or thc. This absence could range anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 weeks.
2. Anything left on queue will also be put on hold. As hard as i've tried to get things done before hand, I had come down with a bout of the flu AND had to scramble to prepare my house and my family for my recovery despite that. I was only given a month's advance (I only got my surgery date confirmed on the 20th of october :') ) And my queue still has a few pieces that may not make it. As much as i want to keep a clean slate before the new year, It's looking less and less plausible as my surgery date quickly approaches.
WHAT I'VE STILL YET TO COMPLETE:
- Gigabyte- double daki shaded sketch.
- Labanimal- flat TF sequence
- Blurrybear- Experimental commission
- Ashravens- shaded 2 character thigh up
3. I won't have ANY income for the next coming month.. Which is a bummer,, especially before the holidays. Usually I would offer some sort of black friday sale for smaller pieces such as headshots or busts, but unfortunately this year I am financially and (soon to be) physically unable. This being said, I have 2 adoptable sheets coming out over the next day or two. I have put lots of love and care into them and then some. Now more than ever will be the time to bid as the money from these characters will be my entire savings throughout the month of december until i'm back on track. Anything and everything will be appreciated !
Aside from that, If anyone is interested in donating to me via ko-fi I will happily draw up some sort of traditional piece while I'm in bed if they send me the proof of donation over on my twitter b0ycub .
NOW FOR THE NEW YEARS STUFF !
With the year coming closer to its close i wanna bring up a couple plans announcements!
Firstly, I'm VERY CLOSE to 1000 watchers. Holy shit ! I've reached it on tumblr before, but I've pretty much abandoned the site since the engagement and feedback wasn't worth the trouble of even logging in. (even though i may go back eventually... who knows...)
I still plan on doing a giveaway for that milestone ! Though it will DEFINITELY be in the new year, so remember to keep your eyes peeled !
Secondly, I'm going to be focusing more into my patreon once the new year starts. I'm hoping to make this a full business remodel. This year was originally planned to be a big year for my personal art, but that never happened due to queue and the constant flux of bills and me keeping my queue too full for too little money.
Changes include
-Offering larger commission slots to my patrons first before bringing them public. This will most likely result in them remaining closed aside from smaller stream slots
-adding a third commission stream to my regular work week. increasing my turn around time for commissions bought in stream.
-Making more personal content to better advertise my patreon and personal characters
-reworking of the tier level prices
-Adding new rewards such as PSDs, Process videos and tutorials
If my patreon is able to grow enough i will be able to put more time into my personal projects, studies and look into new forms of media such as after effects animation, digital painting and music. Consider supporting and becoming apart of the discord. We're freak friendly and talk a lot about food and stuff!
I wanna apologize for the all over the place format of this journal, as I said before, I'm still flu stricken and pretty damn tired, but i wanted to make sure to update everyone as soon as possible.
