Would anyone be mad if I retired rue as a character? Like removed her completely and did someone else or something else? After hearing how her looks still are being taken the WRONG way, I’ve been having thoughts on retiring her. Maybe I can change her or just do someone else, maybe retire all my girls that seem to be causing issues...
I’m really wanting everyone’s opinion, that would be very helpful.

i like the flat look. There is a difference between a flat chested char and a child
Ugh people are just super PC these days they jump on anything. Any excuse to start drama
I love Rue and Charlotte
No one should aggress you into not wanting a character. Harsh.
she is your not theirs.
and a journal in no " IN YOUR FACE" enought,
it get's drowned out. you gotta slap it in a more obvious place front page ~
cause trolls aren't gonna take the time to look at your journal!
but yeah why care don't even reply tho those who have nothing good to say~
just block em there done~
anyway good luck! don't let em bring you down!
However instead of making a journal, just maybe update her ref with it in bold red letters at the top? Put it in a section on your home page, etc.
This way it avoids being "lost in the flood of journals" if you will.
People don't actually read descriptions or tags before opening their mouths. You shouldnt have to retire a character over their ignorance.
I think she is adorable as heck.
The effeminate form in general is pretty HEAVILY serialized and no one here will be amazed by this information. While this goes for any sex really, media does a real good job for this topic obviously and that's not YOUR fault or anyone else's. People are going to ALWAYS not like something that challenges the "conventional" definition of what they think something is or isnt, especially when it comes to this and everyone's "personal definition" is unique and varies and the objective definitions mean squat at this time. Couple that with this current wave of FEAR as real life pedophiles use "Age is just a number" to push "trans age" as if it's like "transexuality" (which is clearly scary for a lot of reasons). From all this you get this knee jerk reaction to literally EVERYTHING that could POSSIBLY be close to that, as everyone's scared to be attacked by this community for "pedophilia" and it becomes the salem witch trials. Except anything that doesn't match "X" traits of what the mass populace thinks an "adult woman" is "suppose to look like" (and I hope you note those quotations! ).... welp. There's your witch hunt and pitch fork mobs at the ready. Sometimes it's folks who do the same stuff, hidden and tucked away in the mob trying to toss the blame away from themselves, and it's mesty mesty mesty.
As long as your character's BODY continues to clearly be an "adult" while their chest remains flat, anyone else raising concerns is genuinely being petty, but context and so on really plays heavily into this. There are a lot of people we could lay down in this thread if mentioning names was even worth it, that have drawn ACTUAL age play content and posted it here and folks hardly bat eyes, and then folks like you get some shit, kills me everytime. Part of being in this fandom though and being an artist is learning to sort the genuine criticisms from the anouses. 8)! <3
I will say my girlfriend has a rather androgynous form and flat chest and she would probably fit this character very closely in "real life hurr", but she's fucking REAL. Like she exists and is older than I am. She's not pedophilic and she's not a creepazoid? SO I dunno what to tell folks in general, there ARE actually people will small to no breast and somewhat androgynous forms that have sex as adults. I realize some people are still uncomfortable with adult forms that remain "androgynous". If so, maybe blacklisting that as a tag and adding that into the art should be considered. On the otherside of this argument too however, as an artist maybe consider workin on the forms and adding "muscle tone details" to certain areas to give the character a more matured look? I dunno if that may or may not help, but perhaps that will add to the overall "adult" concept and make them appear less like a "child".
Either way, I'd be sad to see this character go, but I also understand that gnawing desire to just end the complaints :'). Nothing like being, "man super love this and proud of it, really hope the folks out there like it too" and then you get butthurt grumps for something you didn't even consider while making it cause you were so busy thinking about the art it's self or a crooked vagina or something. Good luck 9.
I’m really just wanting to have all this stop, she’s a cute character and people love her. But others don’t because she looks the way she is. I just wanted this character to be fun and relatable towards a different body type, not this 3-4 year headache.
Don't try to please everyone, and don't ever think you can, just do what you want to do, consequences be damned.
Flat-chested is an actual body type, and removal of it is both ignorant of and demeaning to women who embody it, further pushing the notion that only women with noticeable breasts count as women in the first place.
I'd say keep her her, and screw the nay-sayers. She looks nothing like a child to me
Sincerely, another small breasted adult woman. :3
