10 artists...be warned, this is a hot journal.
Cause it was stolen from
phsuke who just happened to post after clearing my journals out.
Try to think off the top of your head. Don't search your watched list and compare if you can help it. XP
1.)
fredgdperry - You may or may not know him as the artist and writer behind the "Gold Digger" comics. . or you do. Either way, he was the first anthromorphic artist I came across online, and I fell in love with his style and hope to some day maybe come close to it. His action shots, body details, and humor hit all the spots I'd like to be able to do someday.
2.)
furvanessa - The artist and writer of the Pleasure Bon Bon comics. Vanessa does both hardcore and cute. Her style combined with Fred Perry's is what I hope to acheive. Her timing and fine detail in her pictures makes for great story telling and body language. She's also a dedicated artist who looks out for her viewers, providing cameos and pin-ups to those who help support her site and occasionally surprising us with little unexpected minicomics and gift arts.
3.)
drakefenwick - His style is easy to identify, as I've never seen anyone come as close. With enough humor, piercings, and D&D references to shake a stick at, this artist has been doing it for years and will always captivate me with the background stories he makes for nearly every image of his. And he's a Bucky O'Hare fan with gives him extra points!
4.)
BBMBBF - Though criticized by many, he's an artist who stays true with his commissioned works. He hits his time frame hacks and that's a hard thing to do for many artists, but he pulls through without losing much quality during rush jobs. Not to mention he's one of the next most familiar porn furry artists out there next to Dr. Comet, Bernal, and MaxBlackRabbit.
5.)
Angelbreed - A good friend and great artist, this man never accepts commissions and instead surprises you with gift arts of great quality and story telling. Bravo my friend. ^_^
6.)
caramel-kitteh - With bold lines, bright colors, and fun little comics to read, she has another style that jumps out. Besides, who doesn't want an evil egg.
7.)
dadward - With strong outlines and one of the few artists I know who can successfully put his pictures against a solid black background, his images always have this awesome texture to them, as if they were jelly. Plus, he'll respond to critiques and thanks everyone for their comments. This is a big deal to me, as some artists never comment back to their watchers, but he appreciates everyone he gets. ^_^
8.)
bittenhard - Another artist, like dadward, where I enjoy the texture put into each image. Be it black and white or colored, the texture is always there, and it just amazes me. ^_^
9.)
Tsampikos - A very talented CG artist, that I always cringe when I hear how fast he can do some of these amazing images, when I can spend the same amount of time on a stick figure and hate myself. ^^; For those who watch and are wondering "what the hell? where did it go?" He put everything in scraps. Something with the time/date stamps? *shrugs*
10.)
Bae_Bunny - With his "Space Ghost" parody animations, he keeps me plenty entertained. True, they're not as high quality work as others, but the timing and style goes well with what he's trying to do, so back off. :P
And a final shout out to
phsuke who would come up as #11. Now, no offense to her, but her friends and her all have very similar drawing styles. This could be they were all taught by the same person or something, I don't know, but I do enjoy that she manages to reply here and there, and provides comedy in her works and responds to constructive criticism. CONSTRUCTIVE! You jerks, don't just go saying what you hate or "ZOMG I wanna bang him/her/it!" XP
But in all seriousness, there are many artists that I watch and enjoy as well, but it was the first 10 to hit your head, so don't take offense those of my artist friends who come here and don't find your name. :P
