How are you all doin!?

First off I'd like to say this. I've said it before but there's a great deal more of you watching me now than when I said it before.

I don't really go to everyone's page and say "thank you for the watch." It's too easy to press a button and watch someone. But I will say this, it is INCREDIBLY flattering that people like your art enough that they want to be notified every time I post something.

Seriously guys, when I started the 100 sketch challenge I was barely at 700 watchers, now I'm approaching 1000, and I'm ridiculously flattered. Thank you all so very much. The support I get from you guys is amazing.

This is just something I want to get off my chest here.

I can't very well stop anyone from taking on the 100 sketch challenge. It's awesome to see people do something that I started. It feels invigorating.

But the whole reason I took it was to challenge myself. If people wanted to get multiple characters in the pic I took it! ( and charged accordingly of course) but I wanted to improve. I wanted to challenge myself and get the opportunity to draw things I wouldn't usually draw!

I don't see a lot of people really challenging themselves. Like I said I can't tell people what to do, and I most certainly can't blame people for making a living.

But why do you draw? Don't you love it? I draw because it's mainly who I am! I mean if you can't get 100 people to commission you then sketch 100 drawings.. sketch 1000! watch yourself grow and improve! Look at all the things you can do every time you challenge yourself! Don't be afraid to!

It's not about popularity, money, fans, watches, faves, comments whatever! It's about doing what you love to do!

I hope that you all do understand that!

For further clarification I am not taking any more of the $5 commissions. I not only met the 100 sketch challenge, I exceded it by 25! so after 125 sketches I wanted to challenge myself even further!
