Future Commissionsssss Sssstuuffff
Hey dudes. Just wanted to announce this while it was still reasonable to do so: I'm keeping commissions closed until February of 2019 instead of January.
There's all sorts of reasons and stuff but they're not really important. Just be aware that that's gonna happen.
Also, things are going to change a little bit regarding commissions. Something I'd like to do that isn't too unusual or unexpected is to change types, styles, and prices, hopefully for the sake of both giving people more bang for their buck while justifying it to myself, but I'm talking different ways in which I run this shit. There's different things I'd like to try, and none of them are guaranteed to happen or be permanent fixtures, but I think they'd be beneficial to attempt.
This kinda thing would be stuff like deadines that vary based on what kind of work you buy (e.g. an icon would be like 2 weeks, a painting could be 2 months), grabbag experimental kinda stuff, art challenges people can pay to have their characters included in, actual slots which I've never had but are looking sexier every day, a wait list that's visible to the public, months where commissions are closed aside from YCHs and speedpaints, months where commissions are closed altogether, and months where certain regular types are open but others aren't.
Really what this affects is the availability of my art, which is why I mention it all. I know a handful of people are waiting for commissions to reopen, but I'd also like them to be aware that commissions aren't always going to be a consistent, eternally open thing like they have been in the past.
No exactly sure what I will or won't try. Feel free to let me know what you think if you've got anything to say. Otherwise any prospective clients just need to know I won't be back to making paid work until next year. Have a good'un!

Sounds awesome! Still wanna get a couples' pic one of these days, but it'll depend on what you offer! I'd buy an experimental piece, too, if it helps ya!
