anyway. 2 people in the past week have essentially scolded me for not sharing their opinion on the Acceptable Kinks debate. this was done unprompted. these people were adults. and i didn't even do anything sexy to cause it (wtf!!!!!!)

they should spend that energy protecting real animals. go volunteer at a shelter and be quiet about cartoon porn.
are some things absolutely despicable, even in art? yeah, but no amount of callout posts and catfighting will make people change their minds. curate yr own space and block people. report them to the authorities if theyre doing some nasty shit. but for the love of god please get off the internet every once in a while.

It reminds me of the people in a panic about drag queen story hours as being some kind of threat to children when the people who abuse kids are overwhelmingly from their own families or are close acquaintances.
It's so much easier to talk crap on teh interwebs or harass people from small groups that are perceived as being weak, vulnerable, and easy to gang up on, though... These people are cowards, and don't really care about the supposed "Victims". What they really care about is scoring some kind of morality points for themselves.
you're also so real for pointing out that a lotta the ppl targeted most by Burned Furs 2.0 are vulnerable to begin with. funny how many alleged Dangerous Degenerate Sex Pests are non-white or gay or transsexual or disabled or otherwise belong to a minority that has historically been very socially disposable! i'm sure its just a coincidence tho teehee!
It's clearly cartoon animals having sex that are leading to the downfall of civilization. Never mind all of the actual issues, the cartoons and things like people having an imagination or personal fetishes are the REAL problem.
Funny you should mention the Burned Furs. One of the originators of that recently blocked me, after mostly friendly interactions for close to eight years. The final straw came over my insistence that it was important to acknowledge what another old time fur, Mitch Beiro, had done. He had recently died after getting out of prison for ten years for collecting and distributing over 5000 images and videos of CSA, and people were eulogizing him without acknowledging that. Just a tad ironic, methinks.

in relation to what you said tho, thats perfectly reasonable. i try not to kinkshame anyone these days but there's some stuff i'd just never be able to draw, and it's such a relief when the client understands that w/o getting offended lol
