Not TLDR:
Blah blah blah, drama happened recently on FA like normal. Some of what happened was fantastic news, the majority of it and how it was handled was not.

I've already been lagging posts behind on FA because I want other sites to be used more. It's clear that there's not much transparency on what goes on FA. The way some rules are handled are just outright bad. FA has had a lot of problems in the past, this isn't a new thing, but it seems like it'll continue. I don't know about you but personally, that's aggravating to watch all the time.

No other site will be perfect, no site will be just like FA, FA does get some stuff right. But other sites have more features that would be useful to use. Other sites can even have much easier access and wording to some of their functions. Along with those features and easy of use is a lot less traffic aka a smaller userbase. Twitter and FA (and kinda tumblr still but the rule change destroys any real use of it) are the places where I get the most traffic. From my research this seems to be true for many other artists, musicians, story writers, etc. This should change.

Normally, the cycle goes that some people leave FA when something bad happens, and then come back when it becomes painfully obvious that this is the main place people go to in terms of a furry site.

That only way for that to change is for more people to use other sites and ASK other creators to POST to those sites all year round. Not just when the bad things happen. You do not have to move 100% over there, just creating an account and testing out the water and following your favorite creators on those sites helps so much. If your fav creator is not on there, ask why they're not. They may switch over. You yourself may find those sites to be better than FA too. Each site has their ups and downs.

http://www.postybirb.com/ allows artists to post to multiple sites with one program This could help creators or those with many gallery posts transfer over or update those sites much more easily.
The program gets worked on a lot and if you like it then maybe throw the programmer a buck or two.

Just to be clear, I am not leaving FA because again, it's my 2nd most viewed gallery. I literally CAN'T abandon it without basically leaving a big chunk of people who watch me in the dust. Please, please, please try other sites that I mentioned in the TLDR, I will be hosting free raffles and up to date posts over time.

FA will be my updater to other sites and will get the older posts. If FA fixes itself more, I will reconsider that choice. They've been very very slow about that since I was a young furry AND that trend has continued into my entire time I've been lagging posts so my faith in such a turn around is not high.

The only way for this to work is for there to be a reason to move over to those sites. More features clearly is not enough, this means people need to use those sites so others follow and use it too.
This literally can't be done without group effort. Please help.
