A Year in Review - Was a good year!

Heya everyone :) I hope everyone has been doing well and that the holidays have not only gone smoothly, but continue to do so as we approach the end of 2018. It's been a while since I posted a new journal so I thought I'd post this. Been sort of wanting to as the thoughts were standing out lately. So, if you're interested in a slight read, then let's begin!
As the title said, I found this year to be good. It was busy though in a variety of ways. The big one for me was a family wedding that, every month and step of the way, had some level of 'stress' that was hitting my family. While it didn't hit me as it hit others, it began to make me the focal point of 'calmness' for everyone to rant about anything. An odd position to be in, but I do silence pretty well, including moral support. Thankfully it went without a hitch and was a fun celebration.
Activity wise, I feel I did pretty decent in getting some ideas created. First, I want to thank every artist who drew my ideas/commissions as I still appreciate the work and results made by you all. Not sure if any of you will read/see this, but thank you again :) Looking back, I was able to get one done a month, which for me I think is a good track record.
Sadly I have experienced one major blemish on the commission aspect thanks to one artist who, if no results happen in the next month or two, I am going to have a slight confrontation with since it's been a full year and I've not seen a single line drawn. Also, the artist continues to take on more commissions and seems to be doing those ones pretty quickly versus the list of names (myself included) waiting on the sidelines. More on that later as it develops, but it's the only hiccup.
Next year though, I do have plans. Big ones. First off, I want to get others included in my ideas/commissions so it's not just a solo act. I have some friends who I already told I want involved, but it's one thing I'd like to have done more frequently. Plus, there is a series I want to see made and if it is possible, would be the biggest treat for me to get done. I am browsing around for artists to possibly do them all, just it's not always easy for timing (or finances XD)
Lastly, I finally have been getting back into one of my bigger and re-growing passions: board games. I've always enjoyed tabletop games of all sorts and this year I really dove back into it. I play both in person (if solo is possible), but I mostly use Tabletop Simulator on Steam to play with friends. I've found many mods of games of all sorts on there, which is awesome! That being said, not sure how many out there are board gamers, but if that is something you enjoy, this fox is open to join/teach. (This is mostly based on timing with my job as well so bear that in mind ;P)
That's about it really as I think about it. Everything else throughout the year was either working, playing games here and there (which I was able to beat quite a few...one of my better years as my friends and stream audience would say) and just getting by. That being said though, I'm curious to hear what you all have for thoughts as well. Specifically, about image ideas you'd like to see Daryl in or might have had an idea of if I were to get a commission. I have my ideas, sure, but I've heard others that really latched on and had me wanting created as well. Now, I can't necessarily do all of them, but if an idea stands out, it's not completely out of the question. So, let me know!
With 2019 just a couple days away, I am curious to see how it will go. This year was busy, the year before was just a slight bummer...so this year I am hoooooping it will be calm...? Or at the very least good again. I hope you all have a fun and enjoyable New Year's Eve and hopefully an even better and enjoyable start to the new year! Make sure to take care and enjoy yourselves! =D
*waves to all who read this far* See you all in the new year and maybe off with a bang! =3

Is your life alright?
Just stay healthy, keep a positive look when possible and have fun where it pops up.
It's been going good, despite how the world is sitting right now. Been able to find ways to enjoy my time while still meeting new and fun people. Even rekindled an old hobby ^..^
Things been going well for you?
