Dance like no one is watching

You have to keep a little crazy hidden away in your back pocket just to maintain your sanity.

Some time ago I read a journal asking for volunteers to send in a small video clip of yourself 'dancing like no one is watching'. There was a link to a sample, showing kids dancing in incredible ways, and I laughed knowing full well if I even attempted something like that... well... lets not go there; the image of what I am thinking is not a pretty sight.
None the less, the dogs and I had a bit of fun, and I sent it in. Call me crazy if you wish (something I keep tucked away in my back pocket) I had fun.
And now... thanks to
mkali I'm in a youtube video. Go watch it... (I certainly was impressed)... and try not to laugh when you see an overweight old guy dancing with his pups.

That said, it was a cute video and I still think you're a brave soul to wear a fursuit outside for everyone to see. But, now that I think about it, those people who wear the mascot fursuits really aren't much different from those who wear them for pleasure.
I used to dance with my dog, Flap, just like you were doing in the first clip of yourself and your puppers. I think he enjoyed it at least as much as I did.

Haven't really danced solo in awhile, though I know two things tend to result from it:
1. Very deliberate, soft flailing
2. An imitation of Ian Curtis' dance (albeit of varying quality)

Your videos are heartwarming and funny, I watched quite a few, including your unboxing of Mkali. This latest video, wow. What a great idea and what a great turnout! I wish I had jumped in, but gosh, I am so terrible on camera.

I'm also not allowed to sing in public. Constitutional amendment.

I lost my favorite dance partner more than six years ago, shortly after Cami was born; they never met. Pixie lived to be 16, and in her youth was about the dancingest, jumpingest dog I ever saw.they speak whatever's on their mind
they do whatever's in their pants

At one point we were up to seven dogs. We have four now and all rescues/adopts. I don't think we could live without our dogs. For a long time we fostered difficult pups for the Humane Society, and mothers with pups. It's tough taking them back and we kept more than a few.

All of my dogs have been rescues, and all but two of my brother's. His first dog was a puppy store Corgi, and a 3/4 Australian Cattle Dog X 1/4 Border Collie -- Texas Heeler -- that came from the feed store's greeter dog's only litter. We've maxed out at four, but it's currently my Cami and my brother's two clowns. I need to take a good picture of Winston, the latest -- he'd be a good body-double for Rouvin.
Happy New Year, Vixyy!
