Why my mom is the best mom

Mom: I was planning on working part time where you worked since it is closer to my home. Nothing big really but just to earn a little extra money.
Me: I actually worked on some commissions after the exams while I waited for the flight I booked. My sister wasn't too happy with it because that meant less time playing games with her.
Mom: What are commissions?
Me: It's kind of when you do a thing for someone and get paid for it which in my case was drawing pokemon porn.
Mom: YOU GOT PAID FOR DRAWING PORN!?! THAT'S GREAT! Do you think you can make a living out of it?
Me: No way. I got less than $100 for 5 days of work, can't survive on that.
Mom: Oh that's too bad. But still, you earned some coins doing something you love doing and that is amazing. Well done.
I feel I'm very lucky to have such a mother that I have. I truly love her for being so openminded about the whole furry thing and the fact she asked me if I could make a living out of it makes me really happy. I'll definitely open for more commissions in the future but right now I'll soon start school again and I'll check on how tough it will be before I do so I don't priorities wrongly.
Anyway, welcome to this new year you guys, hope to see a lot of great artwork as well as getting a number of good pieces done myself.

Indeed. Knowing I'm having a blast drawing what I draw and show me that kind of support is far more than most people would get from their parents.

My mom knows I draw for cash as a hobby. She is not super into it but she doesn't get in my way. She used to thinking it's illegal or w/e but here I am years later with no problems

Can't say my mom was too pleased with it either when she first found out about the drawings that was animalistic, but I told her it is just some stupid fun. Glad to hear your mother isn't trying to stop you in any way. Keep having fun with your drawings as well.

I'm glad to hear there are others who also have same supportive parents. It's not as big of a taboo as it was back in the years. Though I do keep my artwork away from my grand parents. They tend to be a little more sensitive to the subject.

Yeah, drawing porn is like that.. worst thing is, when you make something really cool, and can't go "Look at how good I am at art!!" to everyone because of the subject matter :')
