Oh this one's fucking hilarious (seriously)!
So we've had problems with another driver sniping good deliveries that either have higher mileage or are known to tip well. He got in trouble for it, so he decided he didn't want to stay and close on New Years Eve or the night before and went home early. This was a bridge too far for our non-confrontational GM and he decided to fire him. The cunt responded by threatening to tell corporate that everyone has been drinking and/or getting stoned on the job and doing other illegal activity and he explicitly threatened a manager who's a military reservist, apparently by sending him a text message with a screen shot of contact information to report personnel engaged in illegal activities.
As far as I know, he's still technically employed, but when this goes up the ladder...this is not just fucking yourself out of A job, this is "You are no longer hireable ANYWHERE" levels of bullshit. Because he's going to get one or two people who actually have been doing drugs (it's a fucking pizza chain that employs high schoolers, for fuck's sake), but the people he reports who are fucking boring as shit...like me? We've got cause to sue for defamation. Of course that's just IF anything happens. I mean aside from him getting spitroasted (legally and possibly in the more...graphic sense).
