I've poked at a few memes when I was bored but my favorites are the "tell people about you" meme.
without the confines of rules I'm gunna just post some stuff about this roo ^^
1. I was born in Detroit Michigan, raised in Florida during my developmental years (2-5 or 6 I think) then moved back to michigan where I spent the rest of my childhood.
My fondest memories are from florida. I lived in a small town called Hastings as well as a smaller rural area called fruitland (heee) where we had a trailer home single wide, no running water, 10 acres of land and a horse. We did have electricity though. but I never watched TV because we couldnt afford to own one. My family scrimped and saved to get a computer. The Commodore 64. I remember my uncle teaching me what computer language was, how it worked and how to write my own games by the time I was 6.
2. I was a storm chaser, though not professional, I'd spend summers in the midwest chasing tornados or being chased by them depending on the storm. I paid for my gas and lodging by working odd jobs here and there and selling my pictures to NG and anyone else that would buy them. generally they would drop 5-10 bucks a pic.
I destroyed alot of cars which is partially why I have such a long list of cars I have owned.
3. If my car had not broken down on my court date, my real name would be Miles Allen Prower today. I've always loved the name Miles, and tails was like a foxy version of me. He was quiet and playful at the same time, an inventer and always cared about his friends and would do anything for them.
4. While my character is a metal loving kangaroo, there is alot of music that I appreciate. Celtic, classical, classic rock, rap, country, motown, bigband and swing... really anything ... I mainly enjoy rock and country music with blues and folk taking care of my top 4 styles. =) I love Stevie Ray Vaughn and Janis Joplin.
5. My family actually has a history in music. My grandparents on both sides released albums in country and bluegrass styling back in the 50's and 60's... what kind of hurts though is I dont know what thier bands were called. My grandpa Tom Jones used to be involved with CCC youth corps where he met Pete Seeger whom he befriended for many years. My grandpa branton spent alot of time traveling across country playing shows until his passing in 1984 (?) or 81 I was very young. My uncle was in a moderately successful band called "The Labels" mainly an opener band for musicians that would play in SE lower michigan and they played in alot of places in the midwest as well. Its my uncles fault that Ted Nugent does not like me ;) though Iw as able to hear some interesting stories about my uncle when I bumped into him during the Pirates of the Caribean 2 premier at disneyland. I got written up 3 times that night because that man does like to talk.
6. There is so much in life that I enjoy that I often drive people crazy when they meet me and try to get to know the things that I like. Really I have favorite things to do, but I'll always try new things, and even things I dont like will be tried often to see if my tastes have changed. Really there are few things I have run into that I dont enjoy or appreciate to some capacity.
7. I have a higher level of intelligence than I let on. ;) This is something that takes a loooong time to learn about me, why I've made certain decisions in life and what it means when I say "my life is my own experiment in psychology and education" Its not saying I am unique, my life and my path in life is one big theory that started when I was 14. On my death bed I will publish a book on my findings.
8. My weakness in life is description. This makes number 7 a hard task to undertake and I really wish I had known that throughout my development I'd get handed a great hand in the card game that is life, but I'd always be missing the winning card. It can be frustraiting to go through life comprehending far more about life than you can describe. Many times it comes out in incoharant jibberish and poor analogies.
9. My eyes used to change color frequantly. The only reason I know this ... I used to be in a deep relationship with a girl whos father was an eye doctor. He noticed that my eyes would be green one day, brown the next then blue another day. be brought me in for an eye exam and got to watch my eyes change from green to brown rather quickly, the process took less than a minute. I've even had times when the top half of my eye will be a nice deep brown and the bottom half will be a deep blueish green. I've never really invested much thought into why it is or if its some strange medical condition, but you can look at my eyes and nearly every time they will be diffrent. It used to happen alot when I was around pouch, he'd make it a point to check my eyes several times a day to see what would come up. I can tell you what color my eyes were during what events were happening between me and him.
10. I have a memory problem. I always ahve. I will forget a face, a person, a movie, what I did 10 minutes ago or what I was supposed to do, but at the same time I will remember the emotions I had toward that particular event. while I dont think this is strange or unique, its something I feel bad about often. People will meet me and I will forget who they are.

Just out of curiosity, do you ever find yourself slowing down when reading to 'hear' the speaker's voice in your head?
As for that voice, generally instead of slowing down to listen, more or less I just give it a little attention here and there. nothing major.
