Commission Prices
Hey y'all.
Just figured I'd let you know, before I reupload my commission info, I'll probably be re-examining my prices. Specifically for sketch pics, as I've often been spending a bit longer than 45 minutes on them.
My situation this month is pretty dire, between taxes, student loans, rent, and ALL that stuff, I don't have health insurance, and after this coming week I'll probably barely have 10 bucks to my name lol. My savings account has 3 bucks in it.
As much as I dislike pricing people out, this situation just isn't sustainable. Doing 30 pics in a week--even quick ones--isn't something I can do repeatedly. I'm driving myself insane because I don't even feel like I can leave the house for fear of spending anything.
Just figured I'd let you guys know in advance. Thanks so much for your continued support as I try to figure this out. This IS still the job I wanna do. I just really have to find a way to do it without losing my shirt.

I dunno if I even said it right or not, I am sick atm lol
But I know I've been hoping to get another commish from you for a while. If you open up again (hopefully the backlog isn't too dire) I'm down to pay more. Quality is worth it.
You're not pricing people out, you're making it worth your time. People who want something badly enough will save up for it if they can't casually toss around the kind of money you price your work at.
The lesson here? Don't lower your prices, do good enough work that people want to pay what you're asking. And never feel guilty about doing what you need to do to survive as a business and suffer less stress as a human being. <3
Hopefully you got my note.
