Starcraft II Editor Projects

This is the New Starcraft II Editor... its goddamn Heaven on earth
This will be my project topic for anyone one intrested in reading it. i will try to think of projects to do as a hobby.

SMASH TV
The Thoughts behind of what the spirit of Smash tv is a lot of bad guys vear easy to kill. you could in two snaps turn this into a zombie horde game but doesnt quite give the feeling of fighting for TV. so the first objective is to get the shooting system down. The old system was using the D-pad for movement and holding down the respective buttons in directions to shoot constantly. No ammo and a fixed shoot speed.Chances are i will try to make the WASD the movement buttons and IJKL as the shooting keys.
The game was full of Basic bad guys set up in a color code system for the basic dudes. Green being the slowest unit, Pruple being slightly faster then green and per 10 green there might be a purple in the middle. Practicly all the badguys druged about half the speed as the main player. The assortment of guys quickly expands as you get tough guys (takes about 5 shots to kill) moving slowly around if not killed explodes shooting shards of metal in 8 Angular directions, and sentry men shooting down at you.
A big part of this game is defently the random assortment of bonuses and buffs you can obtain.
~Blade Shiled~ :Had 5 spinning disks that would kill anything it touched slowly dissapating over time or quickly if hits a hard object
~Scatter gun~ :this gun shot 5 in a spread formation instead of the normal 1
~Explosion~ :destroyed everyone on the screen
~Gernades~ :launched a large ammount of gernade like objects a few paces infront of the hero spreading randomly not much splash but a lot of them.
Thoes are the ones i have seen just in the first 3 levels of the game
Boss battles are quite intresting and will be one of the highlights of using the Data Editor to create these bosses. and from seeing the special unit from the Preview of the SC2 Editior making 'special moves' will be veary easy to do. this part i will change much diffrent from the in game boss. hopefully changing in game AI might be possable
First Thought Brainstorming
~i will probobly make three main characters rather then just the one fixed one. the first changes will be Fast, Normal, Slow Characters. Later i can think of special abblitys to give for a level up system in this game to give it a little more depth. some of the abblitys might be such things as a shockwave or a pericing shot for the harder to kill units.

~Decreased fire Rate by 25%

Increased rate of fire by 20%
Deacreased speed by 25%
The higher Debuff is to make normal a possable choice rather then most people just taking the high or low characters. this is under debate... might not be needed.
Models
Hero: http://www.starcraft2.com/features/.....ran/reaper.xml will be the basic idea of it. the jet pack and pistols gives a feel to the quicker characters of the game
Basic goon : This one im debating if i want this to be a human model to give off that 'reality' TV show or change it up with an alien.

The Starcaft II Editor was announced this weekend, The game is not out yet but im planning on useing the editor to create maps and games as a hobby
