The standard (alt pics exist) kinda link in the description is simple and good for when you can effectively use it.

As for when you can't really make an easy edit, there are really two routes. Either don't mention it at all on your main, but make sure its tagged the heck out of so FA's Search Engine can easily index the image. This is so the people who are looking for that will find it. Other than that, you could make a crop/warning-esque edit that shows parts of the image you deem can fit on your main page, and have a link in the description along with all relevant info.

Personally, I feel it's fine to just link your alt account in your bio or somewhere, that way if people are so inclined to look for said content, they can find it. Otherwise, the content simply "doesn't exist" to the people who aren't the target audience. It's a balance of driving traffic and keeping people happy

I've considered the crop option but it'd be redundant for the people who actually watch both, so I'll likely avoid that.

I guess I'll just have to rework my profile to include a direct link to my alt so people can find it easier as you suggested. Man I wish FA just had a blacklist feature :(

Yeah, either a blacklist or even just a more robust folders system that allowed things in certain folders to be hidden by default. It would solve (most) issues with the current implementation and the need for alts and such xwx

For minor edits and the like, you can always link it on the description, if it's mayor stuff, or different stuff not linked to other stuff... I imagine just putting a fat -> HEAVY KINKY/EDIT FA HERE FUCKOS -page link goes here KTHANK <- does the trick :^)
