Probably because the ratings were the lowest in 10 years.
Frankly, I'm glad.
If a black football player can't stand up against police brutality by kneeling for the anthem without being labeled a traitor or worse, the NFL can rot in Hell alongside Trump.
A lot of it was down to Goff being absolute dogshit the entire game and even Brady was boring to watch. There were ZERO big memorable plays! Last year we got Philly Special, Brandon Graham's strip sack, Zach Ertz game winning TD. We got nothing like any of that this year!
Nah should have been the Chiefs and Saints. That would have been a fun game I guarantee. Being a Chiefs fan we had the offense but not the defense to beat the Patriots. But even though the Patriots won, I get a little satisfaction in knowing it was not only the lowest scoring game in history, but the lowest rating in ten years.
I know, the Saints got screwed BAD, but they knocked out the Eagles so I really couldn't care. I was pulling for the Chiefs after that; luv me sum Andy Reid. Cheifs-Saints would have been awesome, but then again ANYTHING would have been better than what we saw on Sunday...

Why? Because they're worried for bad publicity?
Boo-hoo-hoo! You know what? If Kap led a team to the SuperBowl, what would they say about him then, huh?
