Update on a previous post concerning commission stuff
7 years ago
It's taken about three days, but I've finally finished completely overhauling my colour libraries for my embroidery floss. Early tests indicate that colour is far more accurate than before. As I said in my previous journal, this means that certain commissions will take less time going forward. It won't be a universal thing, but pixellated pieces with more colours will see the biggest improvement.
As an added bonus, depending on how well things go over the next week or two, I'll be able to take my second, organised-by-colour thread bin and re-arrange it to be by number. This is awesome because it means I can keep a bin permanently in my bedroom, where I do a fair amount of work on projects that don't get filmed. Not going to do that tonight though, because I do want to make absolutely certain that everything works as expected. There's still a chance that it won't be completely perfect, and keeping a bin organised by colour may still be necessary for some projects. I hope not though, because I hate bins that are organised by colour so damn much.
