Am I weird? Possibly.

It occurred to me that a lot of the people I've been interacting with online lately are a good deal younger than I am, which got me to thinking about how I'd have felt weird when I was that age and someone my age now decided to be my friend. And then of course, I get to thinking, has it really been that long since I was that age? High school feels like it was just yesterday! I can certainly say I don't feel any different than I did two years ago, aside from being a good deal more over my breakup.
So anyway the thing is, I don't really relate well to people my own age. Hell, I don't relate well to most people, but because of the lack of... anything happening in my life since high school, a lot of the people I do find myself relating to are closer to that place in their life. But then, I do end up feeling a little creepy. It's sort of a damned if you do and damned if you don't sort of thing I guess.
I just hope people don't think less of me.
