Most recently (and this is a MINOR ine) the fire bombing of Manda'Yaim. The lush tropical world was turned into a white sand wasteland left heavily irradiated and infertile. Billions of men, women, and children were targeted specifically in an attempt to divert the advancing mando fleets from the core worlds. It worked.
