Generation 8, Baby! WOOO!
I mean, we all kinda saw it coming with that none-too-subtle teaser earlier, but it's nice nonetheless.
So I'll just give a rapid-fire response to wait the trailer for POKEMON Sword / POKEMON Shield gave us!
TITLES: Not too bad, but those cards could use some work. I hope it's just an early design...
GALAR REGION: Looking sweet! I love the vibes it gives off: a quaint and comfy European-esque region to rival that of Kalos.
GRAPHICS: --is speechless--
TRAINERS: Perfectly designed to match the feel of the region. The nipple beanie will be memed to death, I'm sure XD
GROOKEY: I'm sure Chespin was feeling lonely, so we've gotten another mammalian Grass Starter! Not too hyped about his initial design, but one of my fave Pokemon is Passimian, so my interest in them could very well pull through.
SCORBUNNY: With a name and design like that coinciding with a certain shot in the trailer, if this thing evolves into a football-themed bunny furry...I'd be both shocked and kinda into it XD
SOBBLE: PRECIOUS! I will fight anyone over this, but this fella is downright precious to me, and I know that it's gonna be the one most people pick on. You will not hurt my son! D:<
And there we go: my quick thoughts on the trailer. Again, not much to go off of a 7-minute trailer, but it was hype nonetheless. Hope you all are hyped for POKEMON Sword / POKEMON Shield~!

Region: seems alright,; Great Britain has nice vistas; it depends on how much they make of it in the games yet.
Graphics: Touched up Sun/Moon graphics. Not impressed, sorry. Where do people see an upgrade here? ^^'
Trainers: Same ol boy and girl. No character customization shown is a letdown. That would have been the chance to innonvate finally.
The starters: All fine. I don't really have big expectations from Pokémon designs after that huge amount they created. I am somebody who usually does need to see more of them rather then getting a love on first sight moment. I have a feel though that the way they presented the Bunny it will be come the major star of the generation. Could of course be that people rather go with the one with the most impressive final evolution later on but so far it seems people are head over heels about the Fire starter.
Such a shame. They could have taken the chance to really make something very impressive in the presentation but we did only get shown the bare minimum with nothing that makes the game stand out between the previous generations yet.
